Bread and Butter Tools & Techniques
Whilst our core programmes generally include a host of tools and techniques to support a range of facilitation situations and scenarios, we spend good quality time in the early stages of training exploring key competencies that underpin much of what a facilitator is and does. This day asks that you arrive with much of that understanding and appreciation and come prepared to leap straight into the tools, with your facilitation armbands/wings already attached!
What is it?
This one day workshop will provide you with the chance to explore tools that you can use to promote and enhance meeting, project and team effectiveness. We will fast track you through some and indulge you in others, ensuring you go away with the ideas and insight to begin using them in your place of work. During the course of the day we will demonstrate a range of tools to match each of the following objectives:
To get groups/teams talking and relating to each other |
Review progress and learning |
Identify issues and priorities |
Identify drivers for change |
Identify blocks to progress |
Generate and prioritise ideas for action |
Help groups make decisions |
Chart and sequence actions... |
And much more! We will identify ways of using tools for a range of group sizes and how to choose the right tool for the job.
Who should attend?
To get the most out of this day you will have already attended a fast track or facilitation foundation programme or equivalent. In this way you will have the necessary understanding of the key facilitation competencies and responsibilities that underpin and support the use of these tools. |
